As of March 12, 2003, this car is for sale-- I would like to sell it ASAP.
If you are interested, please send mail to jsb@fireflynetworks.net or call
me at +1 703 626 6912.
Serious offers only. I will take a loss - make an offer.
This car has had a VERY professional restoration done, and is in as-new
shape. It has a copy of the original window sticker, pictures of every
step of the restoration, receipts for every single part and service, and
the numbers match. The car is restored to it's original colors, with
correct options and everything. This car came with the sport mirrors,
power top (with 2-part glass rear window-- top was replaced entirely),
AM/FM, etc. Repeat show winner. Probably not a cleaner 69 302 convertible
around that is in original condition. Starts/runs/drives as brand new.
Note that the pictures here were taken for insurance purposes-- the car
wasn't cleaned up at all-- so you can see some dust on dash and floor.
Note slight crack in steering wheel, which has a metal core, so there
are no issues with that. Comes with custom car cover and cover bag.
Also includes jack, matching original jack bag, Virginia 1969 plates,
and interior-matched top cover for when the top is down. (top is
white.)
Mileage unknown. Pictures taken at angle (and with bad lighting) that
make engine compartment look dusty-- it's perfect in there.
I can provide more (and current) pictures for a serious purchaser.
I can also provide audio or video of car starting, driving, etc.
Paid $23k for this car in FL- May of 2000. Garaged since. Note that
the interior clock does not work, which is supposedly a common problem,
and there is someone who will swap it out via USPS mail for around $45.
Note that the cigarette lighter does not seem to work-- or, maybe it
does light, but it doesn't power my cellphone. (I can confirm this.)
This car is absolutely exceptional.
